About This Project
Sunrise Power Solutions completed a 1.4MW kwDC PV Solar installation project for Kings Park Central School District. The project included PV Solar rooftop systems at multiple schools, including a 362.48 kwDC system at Kings Park High School, a 202.1 kwDC system at Fort Salonga Elementary School, and a 226.34 kwDC system at Park View Elementary School. The highlight of the project is the installation of a 640.11kwDC rooftop + canopy system at William T Rogers Middle School. The innovative solar canopy design serves the dual purpose of generating clean energy and sheltering students from rain during their walk into the school. The completion of these solar installations reflects the district's commitment to sustainability, energy cost savings, and a greener future.
