Marlboro Central School District Solar Installation: Project Conclusion

Recently, Sunrise Power Solutions, in collaboration with Energy Systems Group, has received permission to operate the newly installed ground-mounted photovoltaic (PV) solar systems at the Marlboro Central School District! The startup of these new systems marks another amazing leap towards setting the standard for clean and sustainable energy.
Located at the Marlboro High School and Middle Hope Elementary School, the newly installed ground-mounted PV solar systems allow for the generation of clean energy that provides for the entire district. Marlboro High School has installed 1063.24 kilowatts (kW) DC of solar energy, while Middle Hope Elementary School has installed 75.24 kW DC of energy. Although they may vary in sizes, both systems serve as a turning point for the Marlboro Central School District and their contribution towards a sustainable future.
The installation of these ground-mounted systems also highlights the flexibility of how solar can be installed, as placing such systems on rooftops is a common perception. In addition to reducing stress on rooftops, ground-mounted systems can be installed at larger capacities, allowing for the generation of more clean energy for immediate use with the installed location or for other locations.
