The City College of New York Solar Installation: Project Launch

As Sunrise Power Solutions continues to expand our presence in New York City, we are excited to announce our latest addition to our growing portfolio, with the launch of a new renewable energy project for the City College of New York (CCNY) in collaboration with LaBella Associates.

Located at the corner of 135th Street and Convent Avenue, Sunrise Power Solutions will be providing the following services at the North Academic Center (NAC):

• Engineering, procurement and construction of a 141.6kw DC solar carport system
• Engineering, procurement and construction of ten dual-head state-of-the-art electric vehicle (EV) chargers and the necessary infrastructure for an additional ten to be installed in a later phase of this project.
• Procurement and installation of the necessary infrastructure needed for a new Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) to be installed later in this project.
• Procurement and installation of the electrical system upgrades needed for this project.

Additionally, to help expedite this project, Sunrise Power Solutions will also be installing a temporary parking area within the campus footprint to allow for work to proceed.
